June Rachele was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Dr., Major E. Smith and Mrs. Edith Ruth Smith. Her ability to sing was first noticed by her father, past pastor of the Union Grace Missionary Baptist Church for 36 years. By the age of eight, Daddy Smith encouraged June to develop her talent by singing solo publicly. June participated in the children’s choir, in concerts, and she sang “Mahogany” at her 8th grade graduation.

It is easy to see that June Rachele truly finds pleasure and joy in singing for God. Her ministering gifts include an exuberant praise with a charismatic smile or an intense focus on worship. This born-again songstress has an alto voice that is full, strong and rich. She is faithful to her music as God has shown himself to be faithful to her.
Be Inspired By Everything
I find inspiration all around me. I try to make my music representative of myself and my generation. JuneRachele, inspires others through her faith, her testimony and her spirit-filled, vibrant, singing. Through all of her troubles, and difficulties, June thanks God for his mercy and forgiveness and uses her gift of singing to carry his message of redemptive love and hope to a lost generation.
